The ride begins and ends at the Seaside Visitors Bureau parking lot. The ride climbs the back side of the ridge east of Seaside and reaches the crest due east of Avenue U. The ride then follows the ridge south to Beerman Creek and descends Beerman Creek Canyon to highway 101 and back to Seaside. On a clear day this is a great scenic ride with many views of the coastline and the peaks and valleys of the northern coast range. From the parking lot behind the Visitors Bureau turn left on Broadway and ride across the bridge to the 4-way stop at Wahanna Road. Turn left and stay on Wahanna Road to the intersection with Lewis and Clark Road just past North Coast Church. Turn right to Lewis and Clark Road, cross the bridge and follow Lewis and Clark Road veering left at the bottom of the hill. Ride up the hill and descend the other side about 3/4 mile to a white and green gate on the right with number 71 on the left post. This is the Lewis and Clark Mainline entry gate. Enter the gate and stay on the paved road past a chain-link fenced area on the right about 1/2 mile beyond the gate. This is the Warrenton Reservoir. Just past the reservoir, look for a road on the right with a white and green gate numbered 73. This is the start of the 300 Mainline. Turn right to the 300 Mainline, go through the gate and begin climbing the hill. At about 1 mile the 300 Mainline veers to the left. Go left and continue on the 300 Mainline passing the yellow 1 mile sign. Follow the well-traveled 300 Mainline about 4 miles to a T intersection. Turn right at the intersection and ride past the 320 signpost on the 320 road climbing past the 1,295 foot high point and begin a descent into a sweeping curve to the right. About 3/4 mile beyond the T intersection, the 320 road comes to a 4-way intersection. Take the unsigned road to the right and ride past the 2 ½ mile sign. Follow the well-traveled road down the canyon for 2.5 miles to a 4-way intersection. The intersecting road is the Necanicum Mainline. There is a one-lane bridge on the road to the left just past the intersection. Do not turn towards the bridge. Continue riding straight ahead about 4/10 mile to a white and green entry gate. Go through the gate and continue on Beerman Creek Road to Highway 101. Turn right (North) on Highway 101 towards Seaside. Turn Right to Avenue S. Cross a bridge and bear left to Wahanna Road. Turn left on Broadway to return to the Visitors Bureau parking lot.
